My Mom's a Teacher Problems

     This week we started our summer school routine. We traveled a lot the first couple of weeks of summer, so the boys had a little break from school. I bought both boys a workbook that we are working through this summer. The boys work two pages a day. Lucas is working on writing his name, and Logan is learning cursive. Then we take mini reading breaks throughout the day.

On the first day we sat down to work, Lucas asked, "Why we are doing school during the summer?".

Logan yelled from the other room, "Because mom's a teacher!".

     We also went and signed up for the summer reading challenge at the Grand Prairie Library. We missed the kick off party this year because we were out of town. Logan was so excited he started reading one of his books to Lucas in the car on the way home.
