Time~Senior Ladies Tea

This morning some of the ladies in our church hosted a tea to honor our senior ladies. This was a tradition started by a Sunday school class years ago. For several years, we haven't had one, but we started hosting them again last year. This year I helped host the tea. My main responsibility was invitations and RSVPs, and then today I helped with a skit and serving. It was such a blessings to be with the ladies, and see their excitement throughout the tea.

Our skit Is It Time? (Lisa, Me, Leah, Lori)~

We had ladies from different season of life share their testimony of becoming a Christian or remembering a certain time in their life and how God worked or how God is currently working. I was so blessed by each testimony. I walked away so filled with hope remembering the faithfulness of God.

The Speakers~

Lacey, Stephanie                        Marilyn

 Leah, Lilly                            Haley

 Linda                                    Anita, Courtney

Lisa emceed and led the singing.

Stephanie was our accompanist for the event.

Lisa started out by reading Ecclesiates 3:1-11. We sang the hymns Count Your Blessings, Sweet Hour of Prayer, and I Need Thee Every Hour in between the pairs of speakers. At the end, we gave the ladies opportunity to share a word or testimony. Then we made a big circle around the room, joined hands, and sang Sweet, Sweet Spirit
