Last Day of Summer for this Teacher

Goodbye summer...hello 2012-2013 school year! We started the day by visiting our friends Heather, Siah, and Gray at Miss Janice's house before they headed home to Arkansas. Miss Janice was so kind to make pancakes and bacon for us! We enjoyed a few more precious moments and saying goodbye to our sweet friends.

*I hate that this picture is so blurry.

We went home and spent some time with Daddy before he headed in to close at work. Then we ate lunch and went to Walmart. They still do NOT have construction paper in stock and I'm starting to get very irritated! Then we headed to Kroger for some grocery shopping; trying to find things Logan will eat that are not starches is very difficult, but he has been good to try everything I have asked him to. Because they were so fabulous in the grocery store, we stopped at Sonic for a happy hour vanilla coke.

After putting up the groceries, we headed out to the mall to get Logan's school shoes. We wanted to get a pair of black and a pair of brown TOMS, but they only had brown in his size so Grammie bought Lo and Luc brown TOMS. Logan has to wear socks with his TOMS at school so she bought him some no show socks too.

Then we headed home and ate dinner. We have been watching the Olympics and relaxing. It's been a pretty peaceful end to my summer and I'm super excited to start my school year at UME Prep tomorrow!

  1. Josh is a store manager for Walgreens in North Richland Hills. He's been with Walgreens since he was 19 and has worked his way up in the company! He was the youngest store manager ever promoted in our area. I'm kinda proud of him!
