Update on Logan's Tummy Troubles

This morning I took Logan back to GI specialist at Cooks Children's. Logan always loves going there because of all the fun things in the waiting room. Although, he gets disappointed because we never have to wait very long. Here's a few pictures of him playing before his appointment.

Robin reviewed all the test results because when we had gone back after the 2nd colonoscopy in September they had some conflicting results they were trying to get cleared up. They had given me the results over the phone previously, but she reviewed them all again anyway. Overall Logan's troubles from before have cleared up. Now they are concerned because he's lost two pounds since September. They believe its probably due to the fact that when he was having the issues he trained himself to stop eating before his tummy would start hurting to try to minimize the pain. Now that he's healed, he still stops eating to keep his tummy from hurting; but because he's healed up, he's more active again. The nutritionist will contact me soon to make some suggestions. They did give me a doctor's note for him to have a snack at school. I already talked to his English teacher, Mrs. Eddlemon and she said he can have his snack during center time. I'll email his math teacher, Ms. Benthall to see when a good time during math is for him to eat his snack. They want a weight check in 6 weeks. Thankfully, they suggested I take him to Dr. Davidson for a weight check since he's just 5 minutes from us and then call them with the weight. At that point if necessary, the nutritionist will contact me again. Here's a few pictures of Logan while we were in the exam room waiting to see Robin. They have a poster sized framed picture from an I Spy book. We like to play I Spy while we wait.

We just want to say a huge thank you to all our friends and family who have prayed for Logan. We know Logan's healing is just as much a result of God working through the prayers of his saints as much as He has worked through the doctors to heal Logan. We love you all and will keep you updated about his weight.
