First Fire

     When we moved into this house over eight years ago, one of the things I was excited about was the fireplace. We didn't have one in the house I grew up in, and I always wanted one. I was so excited about the fireplace, but then we never had it swept or checked, so we didn't use it. This morning Joshua had someone come out, sweep, and check it. So tonight we are enjoying our first fire. I think the boys are just as excited as I am.

Operation Christmas Child

     This year Logan packed his Operation Christmas Child box at AWANA. He loved packing his box with his friends!

     Lucas was a little disappointed that he didn't pack his box with his Cubbie friends, but he quickly got over that disappointment when I told him we could by ourselves to buy things to fill his box.

     Operation Christmas Child is one of our favorite traditions, and it helps us get in the thankful and giving spirit. 

First Snow

     We are having our first snow flurries of the season tonight. It's really early for us, but the boys were loving it when we got them out of bed to go outside and see the snow. I'm thankful for the flurries and the fun little memory made with the boys tonight!

Friday~Logan passed out after the glow party at school. 

Saturday~Cindy Tamplin Tea

Mom and I had lunch with Cynthia, Krista, and Rikki and their girls at Spring Creek. Then we cheered Bama to a big win over Misssissippi State before heading to Jenna and Jason's for a movie, popcorn, and hot chocolate night. We had a lot of fun visiting with the Whiteheads, Blantons, and Goodrichs. 

Glow Party

    Tonight was the Glow Party for 3rd-6th graders at UME. Logan has been looking forward to it all week! He had a lot of fun dancing, eating, and running around with his friends. Mrs. Leah painted an autobot symbol on his arm. And he danced with Lilly and with Ms. Cook. I think Ms. Cook was his favorite dance partner tonight!
