Spring Break Has Begun

Joshua surprised with an afternoon of fun yesterday.

First he took us to eat lunch at Cotton Patch.

Then he took us to play Putt-Putt. The boys love Putt-Putt and are such good sports when they play. Lucas even made a hole-in-one this time! And Joshua won like he always does.

And it wouldn't be a trip to Putt Putt if Daddy didn't have to retrieve a ball from the water at least once. This time Daddy got to do it twice. And Lucas ended up falling off the bench onto Logan's head and making Logan face plant on the concrete. Never a dull moment with these boys.

Our last stop was to the high school so the boys could ride their bikes and scooters in the parking lot. They loved having plenty of room to ride.

Snow Day #2

Last Thursday, we had our second snow day and fourth bad weather day in two weeks. My boys are over the snow though. They looked out the window when they woke up, said "snow", asked if Logan had to go to school, and then went to play in the playroom. They thought it was funny that Lucas' lawn mower was buried in the snow. We stayed in our sweats. They never asked to go outside. When I finally asked, they said they were tired of the cold. I worked. They played. It was a pretty great day.

Mother Son Event at It'z Pizza

Back in February, UME had a mother son event at It'z Pizza. Logan had been sick that week, but thankfully he was well enough by Saturday to attend. We bowled, played laser tags, and video games. We spent time with friends and ate pizza. It was so much fun!

Crazy Sock Day

Lucas's class has been celebrating Dr. Seuss week, and today was crazy sock day. Lucas had me roll up his jeans so everyone could see his socks.

Snow Much Fun with Daddy!!!

It never got above freezing on Friday night, so there was plenty of snow for the boys to play in with Daddy on Saturday. They threw snowballs at each other. And went sledding with their wrestler bin lid and Daddy's snowboard. Daddy even showed them how to snowboard. Daddy will probably feel that in the morning!
