Pumpkin Time!
Tonight we cleaned out and carved our pumpkins! This was the first year Logan actually cleaned out most of his pumpkin on his own. He wanted an angry bird pumpkin so Joshua carved the red angry bird face on one side of the pumpkin and a piggy face on the other side of Lo's pumpkin.
I did all the cleaning and carving of Lucas' pumpkin. He put his hand in one time and told me, "Yucky!". I gave him a choice of the angry bird piggy or an Alabama pumpkin and he chose Bama with absolutely no coaching from me! Joshua laughed and said, "He's such a momma's boy!". Luc loved the way his pumpkin turned out. I think it turned out pretty well for someone who has never carved a pumpkin before.

Birthday Dinner Celebrations
Logan's birthday was on a Wednesday night. We told him since it was his birthday we would miss church to go out to eat. Logan didn't want to miss church so we did his birthday dinner the night before at his favorite restaurant Texas Roadhouse.
Lucas' birthday was on a Sunday, so we had his dinner on Saturday night since Chick-fil-a is closed on Sundays. Poor Lucas daddy and Logan kept trying to talk him into eating somewhere else, but he stood firm about his Chick-fil-a!

A Visit from the Owen Family
Heather and boys came down from Arkansas for the Logan and Lucas' birthday party. They spent Friday night with us. The boys have missed Siah and GrayGray so much and were so glad they were able to play with them. They didn't leave til Monday morning so we were able to spend lots of time with them. Logan attempted to spend the night with them at Miss Janice's house, but Siah fell asleep before Logan did. He had Heather call me to come get him. We are so thankful for the time we were able to spend with them.

Chelsea's Pioneer Party
A week ago Saturday we drove out to Paris for Chelsea's 6th birthday party. The boys were so excited to get to see the Clarks and their new home. They were also excited to see the kids' grandparents too! They were the only boys there besides baby Miles.
Aunt Krista gave them a real pioneer experience including washing clothes on a washboard. Then they had to race to the line and pin up the clothing they washed.
Baby Miles is getting so big-he'll be one in September!
They had 3 legged races.
They also played A Tisket, A Tasket.
We made ice cream in a bag.
Here's Chelsea opening her presents.
On the way back to Arlington, Logan told me it made his heart happy to see our friends again. I absolutely agree with him-I'm very thankful we were able to make the trip to celebrate Chels' birthday!
