Fort Worth Children's Museum Trip

On the second Wednesday in July, we went with our church to the Fort Worth Children's Museum. The boys had so much exploring and playing with their friends!

Here they are enjoying their picnic lunch and tired of me snapping their picture.

The boys loved the Grossology exhibit and I thought it was well, gross.

The best part is Grammie bought us passes so we can go back whenever we want.

Surprise Lunch with Daddy

A couple of weeks ago, we surprised daddy at work with a picnic lunch in his break room. Lucas has decided he wants to wear sunglasses like mommy so daddy took a picture of us! After all, that was the reason we drove all the way out to North Richland Hills!

The boys were so excited to  eat lunch with daddy at work in his break room. It's been a long time since Justin has been with me when we've went to see daddy at work. Some of Joshua's employees that have been with him for a long time were surprised at how much Justin has grown because it's been quite a while since they've see him.

Here's a very happy daddy with all his boys!

We love our daddy so much!!!

Logan Elijah is 6!!!

I cannot believe my lil Lo is 6 years old. It seems like yesterday that I found out I was carrying him and now Logan is getting ready to enter 1st grade. I'm so proud of how much Logan has grown in the last year. He takes school seriously and always tries his best. He has loved going to AWANA at church and memorizing Bible verses. They took a break from AWANA for the summer, but Logan has continued to practice the Bible verses he gets in Sunday school each week because he asks me to practice them with him.

The last couple of months Logan has struggled with tummy issues; we are currently in the middle of testing and treatment plans. Logan went to kindergarten this past year and it was such a huge trust thing for us to give Logan over to his teacher and the influence of children that we had not picked for Logan to have relationships with. The biggest lesson I think God has taught us through Logan this year is to trust Him no matter what because He loves Logan and wants the best for Logan. And unlike me, He absolutely knows what is best for Logan and sees the whole picture.

Logan Elijah, Mommy and Daddy are so proud of you and your desire to hide God's Word in your heart! We love you so much!

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
and do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
and He will make straight your paths."
Proverbs 3:5&6

Splash Fun at Uptown Cedar Hill

We met up with Josie and Hollyce and their mom Sunny at the splash fountains at Uptown Cedar Hill. The kids had so much running threw the water and playing. Little Hollyce kept toddling off away from the fountains though. The kids had a little snack and Sunny and I had a great visit. I'm really going to miss working with Sunny this coming year.
