Logan's Bible

At our church, when children go to 1st grade, they promote from the preschool department to the children's department and our church presents them with a Bible. In August, Logan received his Bible from the church. We stood in front of the church and Pastor Monty prayed a special prayer over each child. Logan was terrified and didn't want to stand in front of the church. We practically had to drag him up there. To celebrate, we ate lunch at Logan's favorite restaurant Beto's.

Surprise Party!

This year I turned 30 on October 14th. My sister, Calli, and best friends, Rikki, threw a surprise party for me the night before my birthday. I knew something was up, but I thought one our best friends who moved to Paris, TX had come to surprise so when Joshua and I walked into Rikki and I saw all these friends I was surprised!
If you know me, then you know I am a HUGE Crimson Tide fan! My sister somehow talked my best friend who is a huge Arkansas fan to give me a Crimson Tide party and allow Tide decorations into her house. I think Rikki must really  love me! :) The wooden sign at the back of the table, my sister made for me. My sister also made the cake.

A Visit to the Pumpkin Patch

This past Saturday, we took a trip back to Logan's old school-TLC (The Woods Learning Center) to pick out some pumpkins and take some pictures. The commission the church makes is donated to local charities and foreign missions. Yes those are the three pumpkins we bought. The largest one is about the size of Lucas and is currently sitting on my fire place. The boys had so much fun and Logan loves returning to his "old school".
